INSTRUMENT SUPPLY LIST

All students will need:

1. Instrument in working condition
2. Tradition of Excellence, Book 1 for your specific instrument
3. Folder/3-Ring Binder with 10 Sheet Protectors that will act as your music folder
4. Music Stand to practice at home
5. Instrument and Cleaning Care Accessories as noted below

I suggest the following items and brands or types because they work, and as result, help your child become more successful. All items are linked to Amazon for your reference. You do not need to make purchases from Amazon. 

Flute

• Tradition of Excellence, Book 1, Flute
• Flute Silk Swab (any brand as long as it's silk)

Clarinet

• Chapstick-style Cork Grease
• Clarinet Swab
• Clarinet Reeds - Beginners: Size 1-1/2 or 2 (Rico or VanDoren)

Alto Saxophone

• Alto Saxophone Swab (any brand as long as it's silk)
• Alto Saxophone Reeds - Beginners: Size 1-1/2 or 2 (Rico or VanDoren)
• Neoprene Neck Strap* (If your instrument already comes with a neck strap, this is optional. HOWEVER, if your neck strap does not have any cushion, I highly recommend purchasing a neoprene one. Your neck will thank me later. Trust me.)

Trumpet

• Al Cass "FAST" Valve Oil or Blue Juice Valve Oil
