Ms. Wake’s Syllabus
SDC Grades 3-4
Assignments
Students will receive assignments inside the classroom. In this class, we will be utilizing the district wide curriculum, which is the same curriculum as general education. We will, however, be moving at a slower pace.
Assessments
Students will participate in common formative assessments and district wide assessments. If your child has accommodations embedded into their IEP, accommodations will be provided during each test.
Special Education Assessments for Initial Individualized Education Plans and Triennial Reviews will be scheduled. If your child is due for a Triennial review, you will receive an Assessment Plan. Please make sure your most current contact information is on file.
Feedback
Classwork is completed in the classroom and some classwork will be sent home. While other assignments will be kept in their classroom file if they are related to their IEP goals. Parents will receive progress on goals as outlined by their IEP during progress reporting periods.
Grades
Parents will receive progress reports and report cards during the regular reporting periods. Parents will be notified of their child's progress on IEP goals at the designated reporting periods as outlined in their IEP and at the Annual IEP Meeting.
