Mr. Killinger organized the Gathering of Buena Vista alumni at Graziano's in Chino.  Each year, our retired teachers and alums donate towards the scholarships awarded to current Graduates who continue their education.  Congratulations to Ms. Clay for winning the trivia game :)

The Head Chef of the Culinary program at Chaffey explained to us:

You want to go somewhere for an Accredited Degree so that, as you progress through life, going after your goals and desires and dreams, you don't get stuck because you don't have that golden ticket - your education.

Yes, Chaffey offers both the certificate for Culinary and Pastry as well as Associates degrees.

From: Your Leadership Class

Thank you to everyone who donated clothing during our community clothing collection and who participated in the BV Thrift Store activity! We collected about 20 bags of clothes and other items once the thrifting was done and donated them to the CVUSD Hope Center. With the proceeds from the "store," we were also able to donate some personal hygiene items along with the unsold donated clothes.  

Chaffey InTech offers short and free tuition programs where students can obtain certification in welding and industrial work Once studnet sobtain their certification, InTech assists them with job placement. These courses are "hands on" for jobs that are in high demand!

Buena Vista earned a Gold Implementation Medal for 2023 for our PBIS program.  Keep being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe, and earning those BV Bucks. Way to go, Falcons!!!

Buena Vista's ROP Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics class is off to a great start this year. Here, the team is demonstrating order processing skills in a lab. Congratulations to Nick and Alons for being the top performers of the day!  Mr. Bautista and the rest of the staff at BV are proud of you!

Making the stress balls was messy, but fun - we hope you all have a stress-free weekend :)  Special thanks to Ms. Clay for helping us out :)

Your Leadership team, with generous help from Mrs. Huerta and staff members, hosted a volley ball game, water color painting, and popcorn and lemonade on our first Fun Friday of the school year.  Thanks everyone for coming out and having fun :)
