    Dear Students and Families,

Device Protection Plan: CVUSD now offers an optional Device Protection Plan for families.  It is $40 for the school year and helps with accidental damage to your student's device.  Please see the Device Protection Plan page for more information on how to sign up.  Don't wait too long, it must be purchased by 9/30/23.

Amazon Wishlist: Want to make a donation to the school library?  Look for our Amazon Wishlist.  We also love second-hand books! Need to clear out your bookshelf?  Drop books off at the front office anytime.  If we can't use them here, we will forward them on to our elementary or high school libraries.

Please remember to return or renew your library books within 3 days of your due date to avoid fines. You don't have to have the book with you to renew it in person, just come see me.  You can also send an email to request a renewal!  If you are more than 3 school days late with your book, be prepared to pay fines of 10 cents per school day.
renew or renew not there is not try

Students are welcome in the library every school day at 8:30am.  At lunch, students are welcome in after they have been released from the lunch tables.  After school, the library is open for about 15 minutes to take care of any library business. Take a look at our posted library hours for all the particulars. (And of course, you can always come by during class with a pass from your teacher.)

While in the library, you can look for a book to check-out, read, study, do homework, quietly work on group projects, charge your Chromebook, work on a puzzle or maybe even play a game of chess.  Quiet activities are welcome as long as everyone is respectful and responsible.

Have a question? Don't hesitate to contact me by email.

    All the best,

    Mrs. Sexton
