  • Summer Youth Mentoring Camps Educates, Empowers and Mentors Students

    Students from all over the school district came together this week for the 2018 Summer Youth Mentoring Camp put on by Chino Police Department. The program involved fun, physical education activities and instruction in an interactive learning environment.

  • Bike Rodeo Teaches Safe Bicycle Riding Skills and Habits

    The Chino Police Department will host a bicycle rodeo at Walnut Elementary School, 5550 Walnut Avenue, Chino for elementary aged bicycle riders on Saturday, June 9th, 10am to 1pm. This free event is to teach bicycle safety skills to equip the children to be safer bicycle riders. It is a fun event that the children always enjoy and there is an opportunity drawing to receive a free bicycle!

  • Canyon Hills & Rolling Ridge Advance in Odyssey of the Mind

    Chino Valley Unified School District will be well represented at the 2018 World Finals of the Odyssey of the Mind competition to be held May 23-26 in Iowa. A team from Canyon Hills Junior High School and a student from Rolling Ridge Elementary School have qualified for the world event based on their scores at the recent California Odyssey of the Mind State Tournament.

  • Canyon Hills Student Artwork at Young Artists' Gallery

    Canyon Hills Junior High School eighth-grader Hailey Braveheart has been chosen to show her artwork at the annual Young Artists' Gallery reception on March 14.

    The Canyon Hills school office will be closed from June 18 through July 20. The office will re-open on July 23. We hope you have an AMAZING summer and come back refreshed and ready to take on the task of building the "World's greatest junior high school"! We'll see you when you get back!

    Watch your mailbox for postcards regarding "Back to School" paperwork pick-up and return information. These postcards will contain your scheduled time slot to return your paperwork as well as pick up your student's textbooks for the year.
