I'm so excited to meet all my new (and returning!) Coyotes on Monday, August 8!  

A little about me...I have been teaching for 24 years now, mostly in elementary with 6th grade and now in junior high!  Originally from Huntington Beach, I've lived in Chino Hills for the last 20 years.  While I'm a beach girl at heart, I do love it out here!  I have a BA in English from UCLA and a M.Ed. from Concordia University. My husband is also a teacher and we have two children: our daughter is a freshman in college and our son is a junior at CHHS.  We love the theatre, Disneyland, traveling, spending time at the beach, and going to the movies.

My goal for your child this year is to create a safe environment in which my students feel like they can take risks, learn, and thrive, but most of all, valued.  I will encourage growth mindset, positivity, perseverance, while teaching the English Language Arts standards for the 7th grade.

I'm looking forward to a great year with my Coyotes!
