    Welcome to My 8th Grade ELA/7th Grade AVID Webpage

     

    A little about me... I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2015 and earned my English Teacher Credential in 2020. I have been in the education field for over six years now and have taught both high school and junior high in those years. This is my first year at Canyon Hills Junior High and I am proud to be part of an amazing team of teachers. I have played soccer for over twenty-six years and still play to this day. I have many other hobbies, such as guitar, drums, photography, bodysurfing, and playing golf. 

    My goal for all my students is to create a positive and welcoming classroom in which they will be challenged to take risks, think critically, and speak out for themselves so they can learn and thrive in high school and beyond.
