• Hello All,
    I can't thank you all enough for the birthday wishes, gift cards, and gifts! WOW! I feel beyond grateful for your generosity and appreciation! This old woman is definitely feeling the love!! 😆 But most of your children think that I am 24 years old, so I will take it!

    If you have not sent in a plain white t-shirt for your child, please do so. The absolute last day to send them in is Tuesday. We will tye dye them and wear them on Wednesday for our Kindergarten Olympic Day.

    We have many fun events planned this week. Below you will find the dates/times, events, and what your child will need each day. Please mark your calendars.

    Monday, May 19th - Lunch in the Cafeteria - Lemon Day
    We will go through the lunch line, eat at the lunch tables, and play on the “Big Playground”. Your child will not need a snack. They will need to bring their water bottle.
    Lunch will consist of: Orange chicken, brown rice, baby carrots or steamed broccoli, a tangerine, and chocolate or white milk.
    If we are late for dismissal, it will be due to the lunch schedule.
    Lemon day will consist of fun activities all centered around lemons.

    Tuesday, May 20th - Classroom “End Of The Year Party”
    Mrs. Roubian has planned a fun end-of-the-year party. Your child will need to bring their snack and a water bottle. They will enjoy an ice cream treat and fun activities and games.
    This is a regular school day for Rhodes. AM Kindergarten will be dismissed from the front of the school.

    Wednesday, May 21st - Minimum Day - Olympic Day - 7:50am-11:10am
    All Kindergarteners will participate in fun indoor/outdoor activities. Your child will need to bring their snack and water bottle, and wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Parent volunteers will be responsible for running an activity center.

    Thursday, May 22nd - Minimum Day - Last Day Of School - Movie Day
    We are going to watch the movie “A Bug’s Life” in the Student Union. Your child can bring a beach towel to sit on during the movie. No blankets, stuffies, or pajamas please. They will need a snack and a water bottle.
    Report cards will also come home today!
