Second Step Curriculum

Second Step is an evidenced-based, supplemental socio-emotional curriculum provided to support all Chino Valley Unified School District students in TK through 8th grade. The Second Step curriculum supports students in building social-emotional skills such as responsible decision-making, working with peers to solve problems, managing strong emotions, setting goals, and getting along with others. These skills can help children succeed academically and socially. The Second Step curriculum is provided through teacher-delivered classroom lessons using a digital platform approach.
