Welcome 7th Grade AVID and 8th Grade English Students

A little about me... I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2015 and earned my English Teacher Credential in 2020. I have been in the education field for over nine years now and have taught both high school and junior high in those years. This is my third year at Canyon Hills Junior High, and I am proud to be part of an amazing team of teachers. I have played soccer for over twenty-nine years and still play to this day. 

My goal for all my students is to create a positive and welcoming classroom in which they will be challenged to take risks, think critically, and speak out for themselves so they can learn and thrive in high school and beyond. I am beyond excited to be a leader and role model for junior high school students and look forward to the school year.
