Tier 1 Information

Second Step is an evidence-based, Socio-Emotional Curriculum through Committee for Children. The Chino Valley Unified School District has been using this curriculum to support our students in TK through 8^th grade classrooms since 2016.  This curriculum is a critical piece of our PBIS Tier 1 implementation throughout the district. Therefore, all CVUSD students in grades TK through 8^th grade have access to this curriculum through teacher-delivered classroom lessons.

PBIS Tier 1 Support: Comprehensive collection of behavior interventions to help support all students, and specifically those students who need additional support in the classroom/school setting.

MTSS-B Tier 1 Guidance Lessons: For K-6 grades covering topics such as managing feelings, calming strategies,  responsible decision making, self and social awareness,  and more.
