Parents, please check your child's backpack each day, as you will find important announcements, notes, and paperwork. In the morning, students should have homework, books, and any notes that need to be signed.
Make sure that students never bring the following to school: expensive electronics or jewelry, large amounts of money, gum, toys, or sunflower seeds. Cell phones and smart watches can be brought to school if left in the backpack during the day and are turned off. Cell phones and smart watches that are taken out of the backpack on the playground or during class may be confiscated. Students may use cell phones immediately after school.
The following items when brought to school may result in suspension or expulsion: drugs –whether prescription or not, weapons or look-alike weapons, sharp objects of any kind, explosives such as poppers or fireworks, or any print or pictures that depict inappropriate or prejudiced language.
Please see the handbook for more information.
