Google Meet Expectations

 Tips for being a good classmate in a distance learning environment.

BEFORE ENTERING THE GOOGLE MEET​:

​Mute​ your microphone and make sure your camera is ​ON​.

• Show up at the correct time, dressed appropriately, & stay in the Meet for the entire time.
• Find a quiet place away from distractions such as siblings, pets, TV, etc.
• Keep your microphone muted until you are called upon to speak.
• If you have a question, put it in the chat.
• Keep the sidebar chat on topic.
• If you are responding to another student in the chat, type their name before your response.
• Refrain from chewing gum or eating food in front of the camera.
• Hang up at the end of the Meet.
