Athletics Overview

Don Lugo prides itself on its commitment to educate all of our students in an environment where they are valued as individuals, treated with respect and offered educational opportunities that will allow them to excel.  The philosophy of the Don Lugo Athletic Department is that extra-curricular activities serve to re-enforce the vision, goals and promise of the school district. The Don Lugo Athletic Department considers athletics to be an integral part of education and that participation in sports develops the entire student/athlete. We believe that being part of a team promotes citizenship, leadership and a desire to achieve excellence at a higher level.

The Don Lugo Athletic Department is committed to improving the health and fitness of our student’s attributes,which will help them succeed throughout their lives. With this in mind, all of our teams are dedicated to striving for excellent performance within the bounds of exemplary sportsmanship.
