DON LUGO DANCE DEPARTMENT

The Don Lugo Dance Department offers students a unique opportunity to train in the art of dance. Whether you have years of experience and are looking to take dance to the next level or have never danced before but want to give it a try, we have an option for you!! 

The Don Lugo Dance Department can be a four-year program for students. If they choose to, Dance students can take dance all 4 years of high school. Each dance course at Don Lugo, regardless of level, allows students to participate in a full Dance Production where friends and family can come and watch the dancers showcase their talent and hard work. 

COURSES OFFERED

DANCE 5 - Competitive Dance Team  

Dance 5 is an audition-only course and is reserved for students who make it on the Dance Team. Don Lugo's Dance Team competes locally in Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Pom. Our award-winning team practices all year long and performs at rallies and various community events.  Auditions are held every April.

DANCE 4 - HIP HOP TEAM

Dance 4 is an audition-only course and focuses primarily on Hip Hop. Students who audition to be part of this team will get the opportunity to perform at rallies and other community events. Auditions are held every April.
