DR. OLIVIER WONG

Dr. Olivier Wong began his educational career in the Val Verde Unified School District in 1999 as a middle and high school social sciences teacher. Dr. Wong spent six years teaching, served as tennis and soccer coach and as department chair. In 2005 Dr. Wong was promoted to assistant principal and then was appointed as principal at Rancho Verde High School where the school received multiple national awards in advanced placement, earned the honor as an AVID demonstration school, excelled in music and performing arts, and won multiple CIF championships.
His educational experiences have afforded him the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people to meet the common goal of increasing student achievement and well-being. His educational philosophy is based on his uncompromising belief that all students can learn, given a positive learning environment, strong and knowledgeable leadership, a committed and focused educational team, an encouraging community, and a supportive family. All of which the Chino Valley Unified School District possesses.
Dr. Wong has received a Bachelor’s Degree in English Law and History; a Post-Graduate Diploma in European Law; he has earned a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences and a Master's of Education Degree in Educational Administration. Finally, Dr. Wong completed his Doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2016 from Azusa Pacific University.
Dr. Wong has been married for over 25 years to wife Christy and together they have four children.
