    Pamela Schlatter Feix,  a native Californian, was elected to the Board of Education in November 2014.  She retired in June 2014 after teaching English and AVID at Canyon Hills Junior High School in the Chino Unified School district, ending her forty-one year career in education.  Prior to teaching for CVUSD, she worked in the San Gabriel, Burbank and Redlands School Districts completing eighteen years as a principal of both continuation high schools and a middle school.  Early in her career, she taught English, Speech and Debate at Redlands High School and served as the Administrative Designee for Special Education.  

    Ms. Feix earned both a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communication/English and a Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of Redlands.  Her adult daughter attended all Chino Valley schools and graduated from San Diego State University.  She also has a new grandson
