Additional Counseling Supports
Students can encounter a wide range of emotions and experiences during their high school years, and we want to make sure that they have the supports they need to assist them with various events in their life. No one journey is the same, so no one resource will work for all. Provided in the Additional Counseling Supports section, students will find a list of resources they can use to help with their specific individual needs. Just click on each title to be directed to that source's website.
In support of the District's ongoing commitment, CVUSD has partnered with Care Solace to provide an additional layer of care for our community. Care Solace assists individuals with finding mental health care providers and substance-abuse treatment centers. Care is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of the year. Support is available in over 200 languages and is completely confidential.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER
The CVUSD Behavioral Health Center serves as a contractor for the San Bernardino County Mental Health Department and provides counseling services to students within the district that currently have Medi-Cal. Students who are referred to the CVUSD Behavioral Health Center will receive an assessment to determine the level of treatment needed.
