The U.S. Department of Education's office of Federal Student Aid provides approximately 112 billion in financial aid to help pay for college or career school each year. Students and parents and are invited to learn more about the department and available programs by visiting www.studentaid.gov. Students are encouraged to complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to determine which financial aid programs they qualify for.
The California DREAM Act Application (CADAA) is for students who meet certain provisions of AB 540 to apply for and receive Cal Grants and Goard of Governor's Fee Waivers at community colleges as well as institutional aid at California colleges and universities. Students are encouraged to complete and submit a California DREAM Act Application to determine if they qualify for funds.
