The University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems require students complete at least 15 courses in History/Social Science, English, Mathematics, Laboratory Science, Language Arts, Visual and Performing Arts, and College Preparatory Electives to be considered for admission. Courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better. Additional coursework beyond the minimum requirements is strongly recommended.
