Dear Parents,
Legacy Academy will be opening for the 2024/2025 school year on July 8, 2024, for Tracks A, B, and C. Track D and Jr. High will follow on July 29, 2024, and August 5, 2024. Due to ongoing construction and the lack of sidewalks and crosswalks on Pine Avenue, from Mill Creek Avenue to East Preserve Loop, the Chino Valley Unified School District will provide no cost, home to school, bus transportation services. Bus services will only be for those neighborhoods impacted as indicated on the attached map and bus stops will be located within these neighborhoods.
Students taking advantage of the school bus services must apply for a bus pass, free of charge, through the District’s Transportation Department. Information on how to acquire a bus pass can be found at https://www.chino.k12.ca.us/Page/56130.
Once sidewalks and crosswalks are completed to create a safe path of travel, services will cease to be provided. The District will provide ample notice to parents prior to the end of transportation services.
Sincerely,
Gregory Stachura
Assistant Superintendent,
Facilities, Planning & Operations
Chino Valley Unified School District

If you reside in the areas indicated and need transportation, please complete the application by clicking here.
Please note that, for safety reasons, bus-riding students must use the assigned bus stop which corresponds with their official home residence address. CVUSD cannot allow students to use alternate bus stops regardless of the reason. However, students with a valid bus pass may be permitted to enter or exit the bus at a different approved bus stop on a one-day case-by-case basis only if the child presents to the driver a detailed note signed by their parents and the school principal. Again, this is good for one day only. For additional rules and regulations, please refer to the Bus Rider Handbook.
