    Dear CVUSD family,

It takes a village to ensure a comprehensive 21st century education and a safe and nurturing environment for our students. This means that for our schools and school district to function, we rely on our valuable classified employees. Our bus drivers, nutrition workers, secretaries, custodians, maintenance employees, security personnel, school district office employees and other support staff are vital to ensuring that operations run smoothly and satisfactorily.

Our CVUSD classified employees are involved in almost every aspect of our students’ education. They make sure that classrooms and campuses are clean, meals are ready and healthy, transportation is efficient and safe, and that our schools, buildings and grounds are maintained and operational.  They do the crucial work in offices to support teachers and administrators.
I commend their dedication and hope to shine a light on their important roles this week, during Classified Employee Week.

I want to thank you, our classified employees, for all you do!  I encourage our CVUSD community to join me in doing the same.

    Sincerely,

    Norm Enfield, Ed.D.

    Superintendent
