Dear CVUSD family,
When we think of student academic success, we often immediately think of the resources and guidance students receive inside the classroom. But our school district and our educational system works as a team, and there are many people who play a role in helping every student be the best they can be. May 8th is National School Nurse Day, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge our school nurses for their commitment to our students.
It is true that school nurses are the bridge between health care and education, advocating for quality student-centered care, allowing them to achieve their full potential. The caregiving and dedication that school nurses provide are a crucial component of our students’ successes.
Thank you, our Chino Valley Unified School District nurses! You play unique role because you protect and promote our students’ physical and mental wellbeing, and in doing so you help ensure that they are ready to learn.
I invite our parents, students, teachers and community members to join me in recognizing our school nurses and letting them know that they are a fundamental component in ensuring our CVUSD students reach their full potential.
Sincerely,
Norm Enfield, Ed.D.
