Updated Syllabus for Distance Learning for World Languages

To World Language parents and students:

For the time being and until further notice, students will be distance learning. Communication will take place via one or more of the following: Aeries, Edmodo and/or Google Classroom. Students will be receiving instruction via Edmodo (with links to Quizlet and Flipgrid) Google Classroom and Google Meet and will submit assignments online through Google Classroom on posted due dates. Assignments will be scored and returned to students in a timely manner.  

In order to successfully complete your course requirements, be sure to:

• Pace yourself and attend to your lessons and assignments daily
• Reach out to me if you need additional help
• Use Office Hours
• Keep up with your Duolingo Homework (French I, II and III Honors) or TV5Monde Homework (AP)

Grading policy and expectations will be the same:

70% assessment (tests, quizzes, oral and written projects)

                                    30% homework/classwork

Academic honesty - If a student is caught cheating or plagiarizing on any assignment including quiz/test, the student will receive a zero and will not be able to redo it or retake it.
