Dear CVUSD Parents and Guardians:
Our community has made tremendous progress in slowing the spread of COVID-19 and working together to provide a safe and healthy environment where our families have flourished during this past year. Reports continue to confirm a steady decline in transmission rates as the county steadily moves closer to entering the yellow tier of the state’s blueprint for a safer economy. As we continue to move forward and near a return to our pre-pandemic routines, I would like to encourage our students, families, and staff to take advantage of available resources that assist with decreasing a potential future COVID-19 outbreak.I’m excited to share that the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health (SBCDPH), in collaboration with the District, will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at four of our high school sites. Members of the community, including children 12 years of age and older, are eligible to receive both the first and second dose of the Pfizer vaccine free of charge. An appointment is not required to participate, but children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Vaccines will be administered by the SBCDPH and clinics are organized following the provided schedule:Chino Hills HS16150 Pomona Rincon Rd.Chino Hills, CA 91709Clinic Time: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.June 1: 1st DoseJune 22: 2nd DoseAyala HS14255 Peyton DriveChino Hills , CA 91709Clinic Time: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.June 2: 1st DoseJune 23: 2nd DoseChino HS5472 Park PlaceChino, CA 91710Clinic Time: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.June 3: 1st DoseJune 24: 2nd DoseDon Lugo HS13400 Pipeline Ave.Chino, CA 91710Clinic Time: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.June 4: 1st DoseJune 25: 2nd DoseFully vaccinated persons who have prolonged, first contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 and are asymptomatic will no longer be required to self-isolate. Thank you to our entire CVUSD community for working together to build a safe and healthy learning environment for our students.Sincerely,
