  • AMIM - Arts Music and Instructional Materials Grant
     
    6762/0000 - All schools received. Label on timesheet or note in requisitions because it is allocated in the SPSA.
     
    6762/VAPA - Only Secondary & a plan was initially made with John Ashby and is now being overseen by Todd. 
     
     
    Prop 28 Arts and Music in Schools Grant (AMS) 
     
    6770/0000 - All schools received and made a Prop 28 Plan that the principal has been working on. This grant focuses on Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) that is why you will hear the term VAPA Specialist.
     
    No sticker because it is not in the SPSA. Timesheets should include an allowable visual and performing arts club.
     

  • VAPA Specialist
    Under the general supervision of a school administrator/certificated staff and as a professional expert employed on a temporary basis for a specific assignment or project, they will assist certificated staff in the development of designated skills within the Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) standards and assists with group and individual student instruction. The short-term professional expert is intended to supplement the VAPA program.
     
    Instructions from HR:
    • A Google Form application has been created for each school site and shared with the Principal and School Secretary as collaborators.  Log in to Google Forms using your District email and password to access your school’s form.

     

    • When you have identified a candidate that you would like to apply for your position, you may email them the application from this Google Form.  It will be your responsibility screen the application to ensure the candidate meets the minimum requirements of a High School Diploma or equivalent, and minimum of 1 year experience within the specialty you are hiring for. 

     

    • Submit the temporary requisition noting your recommended  employee to Access & Equity, who will move it forward in the process.
