Behavioral Health Center
The CVUSD Behavioral Health Center serves as a contractor for the San Bernardino County Mental Health Department and provides counseling services to students within the district that currently have Medi-Cal. Students who are referred to the CVUSD Behavioral Health Center will receive an assessment to determine the level of treatment needed. Children meeting medical necessity will have a treatment plan developed by a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist which will include specific goals working toward the alleviation of the symptoms that necessitated counseling services.
Various therapeutic interventions will directly address the treatment goals developed and will vary according to the needs of each child. Services provided include individual counseling and family counseling. Some services may include working with the parent, guardian and/or teacher in relation to the interventions used with the child. The majority of services offered by the CVUSD Behavioral Health Center are provided at the child's school site, during school hours. For more information please call the Behavioral Health Center at (909) 628-1201 x8969. Referral forms are available here:
