Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Clarita Carlos
Welcome to English 9! My name is Ms. Carlos and it is a pleasure to be your English teacher this year. Although this year will be a little different than others, I know we will be successful if we work as a team.
A little about my self, I am a Chino HS graduate and have my Masters in Special Education from CalPoly Pomona. I am passionate about literature and nature. I love taking hikes or kayaking on my free time. I have a dog, Benny (you will hear a lot about him), two cats, three turtles and 10 fish!
I love my job because it allows me to see you grow as students and people. This year I will help you become independent readers, proficient writers and most importantly, amazing critical thinkers. I want you to feel free to speak up, challenge the questions, ask for help and be yourselves. My job is to support you as you travel this journey that will be 9th grade. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
