Welcome to Mr. Blackburn's Summer English 9CP Class! This class is going to go by quickly, so it is very important that you do not fall behind and that you are in class every day. The first session of Summer School is from Monday, June 6th - Tuesday, June 21st. The second session is from Thursday, June 23rd - Wednesday, July 6th. Attendance is very important because if you miss more than 7 hours of class you will be dropped from Summer School and not receive a grade for summer. The textbook we will be using for this course is: myPerspectives English Language Arts Grade 9. It will be issued to you on the first day of school. You will also check out a copy of Of Mice and Men. You will be responsible for both books and will need them for class every day. You will be able to leave them under your desk if you choose to do so.
