• academic counseling

The counseling office has three main goals:

    • Assisting students with academic planning
    • Assisting students with selecting a career pathway
    • Assisting students and families with personal/social issues.

Academic planning consists of classroom presentations, four-year planning sessions, group meetings with college representatives and individual sessions with parents and students. Adjusting student schedules is only one role of the counselor(s). Financial aid and scholarship information is also a part of academic planning.
