Welcome to Mr. Fallon's AP Physics 1 Classroom!
"The 'A' Team" - a proud group of hard-working courageous souls gathered together to boldly wrangle the most complicated hidden truths this universe has to offer, the end result of which is to master their craft in order to overcome a great challenge... at a scarcely suborbital speed!

Assignment due dates have been updated in GradeAlert.Announcements and resources are on Google Classroom.I'm sending messages using our Google Classroom, so keep an eye on it. I sent an update video about details of AP Exam test-taking this year, so be sure to check if you haven't yet!
Our Google Classroom (and Remind) will still be the main way we communicate while we're apart.Note:- Continue to turn in paper assignments by taking pictures and adding them to the Google Slideshow "My Completed Assignments" in your Google Classroom (great job so far! keep it up!) as we do release FRQs
- Keep track of your grade on GradeAlert as usual to monitor your progress.
- In AP Classroom, submit assignments as usual by answering the questions on the website itself and submitting it through the program.
- When we use PositivePhysics online and 5 Steps to a 5, submissions will be either on paper as before or through the program, as described.
- Communications will continue through Google Classroom and Remind, so stay tuned!
100% of us have joined Google Classroom! You guys rock!Keep track of the assignments in GradeAlert as usual. GradeAlert still has the descriptions on the "Agenda" tab at the top (click on the assignments to see details below the calendar.)This Week:*Rube Goldberg Project due*Study for Finals and Culminating ProjectsIf you still have AP exams, focus and prepare for your tests the way we talked about (see assignments and Google Classroom Announcements for specific reminders),Keep an eye on Google Classroom Announcements & Remind
Always study Physics with pencil and paper
(or whiteboard and markers - whatever you use)(Also, watch those class videos I made! I can tell some of you have by the way you set up your problems, so A+! If not, it'll be worth it so check them out.)Don't forget to keep in touch with each other! Leave comments after the announcements on Google Classroom and use the Discussion Area in there too. Working together on these is still just as valuable as it always has been!

This year we will be taking a trip to Knott's Berry Farm. Tickets are $45 and will include a full day with very short lines and the bus fees. Students will work in groups to make measurements related to several rides and to make calculations to determine details about the ride. An example of this would be measuring a couple of heights, the velocity of the coaster and the radius of a looping rollercoaster to determine the apparent weight you should feel at the top of the loop; they would then go on the ride with a vertical accelerometer to determine the validity of their calculated result.
There will be an alternate assignment for those who do not wish to attend.
