Horse versus Farmer?
Posted by:Once upon a time, there was a gold farmer who wanted to move his piles of gold in a cart, but his talking horse refused to pull it.Said the horse "If I pull on the cart, it will pull back on me. According to Newton's 3rd Law of Motion the forces will be equal and opposite so they'll cancel out and NOTHING WILL MOVE AT ALL."Upon thinking, you feel that the horse must be wrong. Being a reasonable horse, if you convince him, he will pull the cart. What's wrong with his statement? What could you POSSIBLY tell the horse to get him moving?Comments (0) -
