    Welcome back!

    I'm excited to begin the new year. While the situation may not be ideal, I promise to make the best of our situation and provide all of you with something of value. Your adult life is nearly here and graduation is just around the corner. Economics and government both provide useful knowledge that will be impactful for you in the real world. In the coming months, I hope you find something more valuable than a grade. I hope these classes leave you with tools and knowledge to will assist you on the journey ahead.

    VIRTUAL OFFICE HOURS

    I am committed to responding to questions & email correspondence within 24 hours, Monday through Friday. When necessary, virtual meetings or conferences will be scheduled at the earliest opportunity. Students should feel free to request assistance with content, grading, or other issues that may arise.

    This course will use zoom meetings, email, & chat to address questions and provide assistance with grades, coursework, assessments, or other concerns. I am available during the days & times listed below. Follow the link provided within your Google classroom to chat during office hours. 

     

         Tuesday & Thursday   7:30am - 8:15am

         Wednesday & Thursday 1:35pm - 2:20pm

     

     If an urgent matter arises, please do not wait for office hours. Email me immediately at greg_crow@chino.k12.ca.us. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

     

    E-LEARNING SYLLABUS & RESOURCES

    To begin, select you subject page, (i.e.. AP Economics,) under my classroom on the CHHS website. There you will find our class syllabus, daily agendas, and assignment files. While assignment instructions will be posted within your specific Google classroom; the files will be found in the assignment folder on the CHHS classroom website.

     

    STUDENT ASSIGNMENTS & CLASS ACCESS

    Students should have received a course code in their CHHS email for each course in which they are enrolled. Follow the email link and enter the access code in order to join your class. I recommend you do this prior to our first class session to avoid or address any technical difficulties. Please email me immediately if your code is invalid, or you do not receive one. 

     

    ATTENTION PERIOD 3 OR 4 STUDENTS

    Please go to our official google classroom beginning Tuesday August 11th. Our meet code will also change as it will be connected to the new classroom.

     

     

    ATTENDANCE (FIRST WEEK ONLY)

    Attendance will be recorded based on student completion of an attendance question. If you are unable to login for any reason, please contact the instructor immediately by email. In your email please be sure to provide your name, student ID number, and the problem or issue which is preventing you from joining the google classroom. I will work to address your issue and/or provide resources to help you. You will not be penealized or marked absent for valid issues during our first week of school. However, you must contact me to be marked present.
