Miss Heather Garcia
Hello Everyone :)
I've been a Biology teacher at CHHS since November 2014.
In my Biology H (Living Earth-H) class, students use a Science Notebook, which they should bring to class daily. Remember to always come back to the web page to re-read the syllabus, check the agenda on days of absences, or look up documents and powerpoints.
In my AP Biology class, students need to come to class prepared. The calendar has the topic of the day, the chapter of the week, and videos uploaded if needed. This is a rigorous and fast-pace course that prepares students for hte AP Exam in May.
I also welcome emails from parents and students asking for a progress report, updates, concerns, or clarification on assignments and grading.
With a busy life, there's always time for emails, so let's keep an open communication line!
