If you would like to get a head start, we use the AMSCO textbook as a supplement to the district textbook.  I provide a PDF version of the textbook for students to read and review, but some students prefer to have their own hard copy to highlight and annotate.  Barnes and Noble has been the preferrable place of purchase for the AMSCO, and they tend to sell out at the beginning of the school year.
