Here is my Instrutional plan/routine:
Each student will be assigned to an area that they will be researching for the country that we are studying. I believe most of you know the routine.
Randy - color a pic from the country that we are studying: any landmark of the country of the week.
Joanna- research the different sports teams that are in the country that we are studying.
Aubrie - research 1 recipes from the country that we are studying
Louie - research the flag of the country and a short history.
William - find the national anthem of the country and play it for the class on Friday
Loren - color a page from the animal of country we are studying.
Diego - Do a word search for the country that we are studying

They will showcase or tell us about their research on Friday during our class time. =)
Here is my syllabus:
The monthly calendar will state which country we are studying at what week, please refer to the monthly calendar that I have posted.
Mondays I will work with groups on Academics. For my class, we will go over one country per week so the students will work on assigned tasks such as look for country history, country flowers, country animal, flags and etc. During the group/class time, I will show them videos about interesting facts and videos about that particular country.
Tuesdays we will be going out into community to work. students will work on skills such as follow directions, stay on task, taking bbreaks as needed, ask for help, ask for more tasks check over work, and etc.
Wednesdays we will go into community to work on Community Based Instruction.
Thursdays we will work with groups on their individual goals, and we will also work on grocery store shopping skills..
Fridays we will work with students on ASL, we will also do our academic presentation for the country that we are studying. We will do cooking using a recipe that we find from the country that we are studying.
We may also have guests that comes in to talk about the country that they are from.

- Generally, there should be an expectation that students participate in their best condition possible.
