    The College and Career Center offers wide variety of services to assist students in achieving their college and career goals.

    Services Offered:

    • ROP (Regional Occupational Program) - provides career technical education to students. ROP will help students obtain skills and attitudes that will connect them to successful work and careers in a local and global economy. 
    • This program is free to high school students. Most ROP classes are open to students in 9th - 12th grades. There are some classes that have age requirements.  ROP has many classes to choose from (see schedule link), at least twenty different locations throughout the region and provides elective credits for high school students. Some credits even transfer to the community college level. Come visit the Career Center for more information.

      The 2019-20 FAFSA application opens October 1, 2019

    **Carson Scholars Fund - Nominations for a $1000 scholarship. See your counselor to be nominated.  Eligibility Requirements:
    • Students must be enrolled in grades 4-11 at an
    accredited school in the United States.

    For a student to be considered for the scholarship, he/she needs to have a GPA greater than 3.75 or be on-grade-level in at least half of the core subjects if your school uses a Standard/Proficient Based grading system, and have completed volunteer work at school or in the community. Our Scholarship Nomination Form is now available for an educator to nominate a 4th – 11th grade student for the $1,000 Carson Scholarship.

    **University of La Verne - Performance Scholarships - $25,000 scholarship for students attending ULV - scholarships available in Art/Art History, Communications, Music, Photography, Speech, Theatre.  For info, go to  laverne.edu/performance
