Nice to meet you!

Hello! I am Robin Yim, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Ayala community. 

This is my 21th year teaching, and my second year at Ayala. I have a Bachelor of Arts from Mount St. Mary's in Brentwood, a Master of Arts from the University of California (Fight On Trojans!). I have also taken credentialing classes at University of California - Los Angeles.

I believe that every student deserves to learn the tools to communicate and tell their unique story through writing. My approach to teaching is engagement and connection based. I strive to make content accessible and empower my students. Questions are encouraged either in class, via e-mail, or through Google Classroom. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, making crafts with my Cricut, and spending time with my husband and three children. I look forward to working with you this year.
