FAQs

• Is Freshman Orientation mandatory? No, orientation is not mandatory, but it is highly encouraged! Freshman Orientation is a great time for incoming freshmen to meet upperclassmen, other freshmen and get comfortable on campus. 

• What if I can't attend Freshman Orientation? No problem! Link Crew leaders and other CHHS leadership students will be at school early on the first day of school if you need help getting around campus. You can also see campus when you come for Registration.

• Do I need to attend the entire time? Yes, we do request that students attend the entire orientation. We are doing a variety of activities and moving around campus throughout the orientation time.

• Can parents attend Freshman Orientation? This is a student only function so we encourage you to let your child attend on their own. Most parents drop off their student at the beginning of orientation and pick them up when orientation is finished. If you have further questions, please contact the front office.
