Parent Information Forum March 14 at Chino High
-
Chino Valley parents: Want information that could help you keep your adolescent children safer in today’s world?
Our Spring Parent Information Forum will be held 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14 in the Chino High multi-purpose room, 5472 Park Place, Chino. It is open to any parents in the Chino Valley Unified School District.
Topics to be discussed include emerging drug trends, social media risks and concerns, and suicide prevention. School Resource Officers -- law enforcement officers who work every day with students at our high schools and some of our junior high campuses -- will be the presenters.
Brochures and flyers about preventing tobacco use will also be available.
A light dinner of pizza, salad, cookies, and water will be provided free of charge. There will also be Spanish translation, and free professionally-supervised childcare in a separate room for children who are potty-trained.
Parents are asked not to bring children to the presentation portion of the event because of the mature nature of the topics.
