Chino area state preschool programs seeking enrollment
-
The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools has openings at its nine state preschool sites in the Chino Valley Unified School District.
Enrollment is now being accepted for the state-funded programs that meet in three-hour morning and afternoon sessions from Monday to Friday during the week.
The state preschool programs are for low-income families who meet eligibility requirements.
The available sites for the state preschool programs are at Borba (two sites), Chaparral, Cortez, Dickson, Dickey, Marshall, and Newman elementary schools; and on the Chino Valley Adult School campus in Chino.
First priority for enrollment is given to 3- and 4-year-olds referrals of Child Protective Services, regardless of income; children who turned 4 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2017; and second priority for 3-year-olds on or before Sept. 1, 2017.
Families are given priority ranking numbers based on their family size and lowest gross income.
