CVUSD educators give presentation at College Board conference

  • Several Chino Valley Unified School District educators learned strategies and solutions to help students on their path to college at the College Board Western Regional Forum 2018, held Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 in Las Vegas.

CVUSD Director of Secondary Curriculum Julian Rodriguez and Don Lugo High Assistant Principal Joseph Duarte were among a panel of educators at the Forum to discuss how they strengthen students’ college readiness by looking at testing data of students who take the PSAT and SAT college entrance exams.

“They knocked their presentation out of the ballpark,” said Chino Hills High Principal Isabel Brenes who was also attending the conference. “I’m so proud to be their colleague and proud that they work for our CVUSD students.”
