UPDATE TO THE CVUSD COMMUNITY REGARDING STATE OF CALIFORNIA REGIONAL STAY-AT-HOME ORDER
DECEMBER 07, 2020Dear CVUSD Parents and Guardians:
Effective Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 11:59 p.m., a State of California Regional Stay-at-Home order for Southern California will take effect and last for three weeks. As essential employees, school personnel are exempt from this Stay-at-Home order. CVUSD employee work schedules and student programs will continue without interruption.
Our school district has been in close contact with the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health throughout this process and will continue to do so for any developments.
As our region approaches thresholds that jeopardize the capabilities of our hospitals to care for COVID-19 and other patients in their Intensive Care Units, I ask all of you to please continue to practice healthy habits such as wearing face masks, staying a safe distance from others, washing hands frequently and staying home when ill. Your efforts will protect yourselves, your loved ones and your fellow community members and help all of us get through this pandemic. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
Sincerely,Norm Enfield, Ed.D.
Superintendent
