    Dear CVUSD Families,

The pandemic has weighed heavily on our community and presented several challenges that we have managed to the best of our ability.

First, I’d like to thank every single one of our parents and guardians for their persistent support. Your dedication to our students’ health and growth is nothing short of extraordinary. Thank you to our phenomenal staff and administrators who have done an amazing job handling difficult circumstances to ensure stable academic instruction. Your commitment to our students, and to each other, is beyond inspirational.

Second, I’d like to remind our community that masking guidelines remain in place per guidance provided by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). As such, mask coverings are required while indoors in a public setting, including K-12 schools and district facilities, regardless of vaccination status.

Although this time in our history has tested us in ways we never thought imaginable, I encourage you all to continue to focus on our shared priority: our children and offering them an exceptional education where they will grow into successful global citizens.

    Sincerely,

    Norm Enfield, Ed.D.Superintendent
