• UPDATE TO THE CVUSD COMMUNITY REGARDING REOPENING SECONDARY SCHOOLS, GRADES 7-12

    Dear CVUSD Parents and Guardians of Junior High School and High School Students:

    Due to additional State of California criteria for entering the Red Tier, as of Friday, March 12, 2021 San Bernardino County (County) is officially in the Red Tier. As such, CVUSD students attending comprehensive Junior High and High Schools will return to in-person instruction following a cohort model beginning on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Families can view the cohort (A or B) that their student is assigned to by logging in to the Aeries Parent Portal.

    To transition to in-person learning, the following schedule will apply for secondary students at our comprehensive Junior High and High Schools:

        Wednesday, March 17: Follow school communicated schedule for the Distance Learning model

        Thursday, March 18: Distance learning, minimum day schedule, periods 1-6  

        Friday, March 19: Distance learning, minimum day schedule, periods 1-6  

        Monday, March 22: Distance learning, minimum day schedule, periods 1-6  

        Tuesday, March 23: Cohort A in person  

        Wednesday, March 24: Cohort B in person 

        Thursday, March 25: Cohort A in person 

        Friday, March 26: Cohort B in person 

        Monday, March 29-Monday, April 5: No classes - Regularly Scheduled Spring Break

        Tuesday, April 6: Cohort A in person 

        Wednesday, April 7: Cohort B in person 

        Thursday, April 8: Cohort A in person 

        Friday April 9: Cohort B in person 

    Students in Special Education small cohorts that returned to school in November 2020 (Junior High School) or January 2021 (High School) will continue with their schedule of attending classes every day.

    If you have questions about your child’s schedule once we return to in-person learning, please contact your child’s school directly.
