    Dear CVUSD Families and Staff,

    Governor Newsom announced today that California will no longer require face coverings indoors for K-12 schools beginning March 12, 2022.

    CURRENT MASKING GUIDELINES IN EFFECT THROUGH 11:59 P.M., MARCH 11, 2022

    CVUSD’s current masking policy will remain in effect through 11:59 p.m., March 11, 2022.

    MASKING GUIDELINES BEGINNING MARCH 12, 2022

    Per the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), the state will adopt new indoor masking policies that transition from requirements to recommendations in schools. Beginning March 12, 2022, face coverings will no longer be required indoors for K-12 campuses but will remain highly recommended.
